An international conference was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

An international scientific-practical conference was held on the topic of “Issues of foreign philology, literary studies and translation studies” by the Department of English Language Theory and Practice of the Faculty of Foreign Languages of JSPU.Senior scientists from Great Britain, the USA, Turkey, Azerbaijan, professors and teachers of many universities in Uzbekistan, researchers and graduate students participated in the conference with their articles.

In addition to foreign specialists, leading scientists of JSPU, SamSFLI, University of Oriental Studies, TSPU named after Nizomi, National University of Uzbekistan took part in the Plenary session of the conference with the topical issues and principles of development of modern linguistics, problems of modern prose and poetic translation, linguistic and cultural aspects of intercultural communication and literary translation, foreign language learning methodology and educational theory, introduction of pedagogical and innovative technologies to the educational process
