A meeting of the working group on gender equality audit was held.

Within the framework of state policy aimed at ensuring gender equality in our country, consistent work is being carried out to expand the rights and opportunities of women and strengthen their position in society.

In this regard, the next audit meeting on gender equality issues was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The meeting was organized based on the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on equal rights and opportunities for women and men, as well as relevant resolutions and methodologies from ministries and agencies.

The event was attended by B. Qodirov, the responsible organizer for Jizzakh region of the Republican Council of the Trade Union of Education and Science Workers of Uzbekistan, the JSPU leadership, faculty deans, advisors, psychologists, and representatives from the Information Resource Center and other departments.

The meeting conducted analyses on directions such as creating equal opportunities for women and men at the university, access to leadership positions, and participation in scientific and creative activities.

The main goal of the audit was to assess the practical implementation of gender equality policy at JSPU, identify existing problems, and disseminate effective experiences.
