Today, a “Job Vacancies” employment fair was organized on the campus of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The event was held at the initiative of the Jizzakh Regional Administration, the Regional Prosecutor’s Office, and the Department of Poverty Reduction and Employment.
Graduating students from higher education institutions in our region, as well as unemployed citizens seeking decent jobs, took part in the fair. Among the participants was Zuhra Ma’murova, a graduate in chemistry from the university. She attended the event together with her mother-in-law and child, expressing hope of finding a suitable job for herself. Staff members of the Sharof Rashidov District Employment Department assisted Zuhra Ma’murova in finding a position relevant to her field.

“I hope that my daughter-in-law will find employment and contribute both to the family and to society,” said Zuhra Ma’murova’s mother-in-law, Robiya Abdurahimova.
For reference, according to the results of the final state attestation for the 2024/2025 academic year, 4,527 students successfully graduated from Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and received their diplomas. Of these:
those who secured permanent employment — 1,997 graduates,
those continuing their studies — 124 graduates,
those employed under the “Kelajakka Qadam” program — 101 graduates,
those self-employed — 146 graduates,
those to be employed under tripartite agreements — 1,445 graduates.

In addition, in order to ensure the employment of university graduates, tripartite agreements were signed between employers, students, and the university for 95 percent of final-year students. This demonstrates the establishment of strong cooperation in securing their employment. Speakers at the fair also touched upon the employment policy of our country’s leadership and its pressing importance. The job fair will continue until the evening.
