At the Culture Palace of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, the “First-Year School” activities were launched. The event was attended by first-year students recommended for the Faculties of Preschool and Primary Education, Pedagogy-Psychology and Inclusive Education, as well as professors and teachers.

The event was opened by the university’s rector, Professor Maqsudjon Yuldashev. In his speech, he spoke about the reforms being carried out in the field of education in our country, as well as the modern conditions and opportunities being created. He emphasized that these play an important role in realizing the intellectual potential of the younger generation and in training competitive specialists.

“— I would like to thank you for choosing Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. I am confident that you will never regret your choice,” the rector said in his address to the students.

The performances of Sanobar Kenjayeva, a lecturer at the Department of Primary Education Theory and Methodology, together with her talented students, added even more meaning and spirit to the event.

During the solemn ceremony, the parents of the students admitted to the faculty on a state grant with the highest scores, as well as proactive and active teachers, were presented with letters of appreciation by the university administration.
