A cordial meeting was organized with the parents of the students.

At Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, a new round of meetings with students’ parents has begun. The first initiative was undertaken by the Faculty of Natural Sciences.

Parents of the faculty’s students were invited to the meeting. At the beginning of the event, guests visited an exhibition organized to showcase the creative works of talented students. The exhibition featured students’ scientific research, practical projects, and artistic creations.

After that, the campaign “A Book for My Child” was held under the slogan “A Book Is the Sun of the Soul.” During the event, parents purchased and presented their favorite and most inspiring literary works as gifts to their children.

The meeting was opened by F. Akchayev, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work of the university. In his speech, he spoke about the importance of cooperation between parents and the university in the development of students and the educational process, and he introduced parents to the university’s internal regulations and policies.

During the event, speakers provided detailed information on the differentiated system of educational grants, measures to prevent offenses and crime among students, studying and supporting the socio-psychological well-being of youth, and the advantages of the “Step into the Future” project.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the dean of the faculty introduced parents to the activities of the faculty and the university and proposed the election of a new composition for the Parents’ Council. At the end of the event, the parents of talented and active students were presented with certificates of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

Such meetings strengthen mutual understanding between parents, students, and educational institutions, contributing to the development of a collaborative environment in the upbringing of young people.
