The 4th session of the Council at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University was traditionally opened with an awards ceremony. University Rector Maqsudjon Abdullayevich ceremoniously presented scientific degree diplomas, issued by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations, to the master educators.
In his speech, the Rector congratulated the teachers who had earned their scientific degrees and expressed his hope that they would continue to make worthy contributions to enhancing the quality and effectiveness of education in their future work.

Following this, an analysis of the achievements related to our university was presented. It was noted that 90 percent of the achievements in recent years have been in the field of sports. In this regard, it was stated that special attention must be paid to preparing talented students for international Olympiads, improving the quality of education, and enhancing scientific potential. The Rector noted that the participation of teachers in the English language courses, which started in October of this year, and the monitoring of the educational process are being tracked. It was also particularly emphasized that Saturday has been designated as a “professional development day” and that the first seminar last week was conducted effectively.

He stated that high results can only be achieved when all work is carried out sincerely, not just formally, and when identified shortcomings are eliminated collectively. “Let’s not leave problems unresolved, let’s approach our work with passion,” the Rector said. He also touched upon issues of cooperation with foreign higher education institutions and organizations. The importance of working with partners who bring real benefit to the university’s activities and with whom there is constant, practical collaboration was emphasized. “Having many partnerships is of no use if their quality is lacking. Our cooperation must manifest itself in the quality of student knowledge,” said the university head.

The meeting noted the necessity of holding the prestige of teachers with scientific degrees in high regard and presenting them as role models for other educators. The Rector stated that a firm goal has been set to increase the university’s scientific potential and that practical work in this direction is ongoing. Proposals and ideas for attracting foreign specialists and improving the quality of education were also discussed.

Concluding his remarks, the Rector emphasized that positive changes are being felt in the social and spiritual atmosphere of the university, a situation which pleases him. The meeting then proceeded to discuss the main items on the agenda.
