An international seminar-training titled “Global Citizenship Workshop” was organized at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University in collaboration with South Korea’s Kyungwon University.
This event was held within the framework of international academic and cultural cooperation, with participation from 10 students from South Korea and 10 students from Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The seminar-training is dedicated to the themes of global citizenship, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), civic engagement, and cultural heritage.




The first day of the workshop began with an opening ceremony. During the event, congratulatory remarks were conveyed to the participants by professors and teachers of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. Following this, introductions among students, “ice-breaking” activities, and a group photo session were organized.





Throughout the day, a campus tour was conducted, and observations related to sustainability within the framework of the Sustainable Development Goals were made. Based on their observations, participants engaged in open discussions, sharing their thoughts and insights.





For your information, the JSPU–KWU Global Citizenship Workshop is planned to last three days. The program includes a series of sessions aimed at developing students’ scientific-practical, cultural, and civic competencies.
