The 5th meeting of the JSPU Council was held.

The 5th meeting of the Council of the Abdulla Qodiriy Jizzakh State Pedagogical University began with a ceremonial award ceremony.

During the meeting, the university rector, Maksudjan Yuldashev, presented certificates to more than 20 teaching staff who had been awarded academic degrees and titles by the Higher Attestation Commission under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovations of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Following this, the main agenda items were discussed in accordance with the meeting’s schedule. This included information on the implementation of tasks outlined in the Address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Sh.M. Mirziyoyev, to the Oliy Majlis, the work carried out at the university in 2025, and the priority tasks planned for 2026.

The meeting analyzed work carried out in the first half of the 2025/2026 academic year concerning youth affairs and spiritual-educational work, improving the quality of education, enhancing the qualifications of teaching staff, and developing scientific and innovative activities. The university’s results in international rankings were also reviewed.

Council members approved issues regarding organizing professional development courses from January 6-10, 2026, establishing the position of Rector’s Advisor for university digitalization and artificial intelligence implementation, and launching the activities of the “Council of the Gifted.”

 

Additionally, decisions were made on recommending candidates for the academic title of associate professor, submitting textbooks and manuals to the relevant councils, approving the university’s updated organizational structure, and establishing systematic preparation for “Zakovat” intellectual competitions among students.
