A seminar-training on corruption and its prevention was held for students of the Faculty of Philology.

A seminar-training was organized under the leadership of Gulnoza Muqimova, tutor of the Faculty of Philology, with the participation of students on the topic “Personnel Corruption and Mechanisms for its Elimination, Forms and Main Directions for Preventing Corruption Crimes.”

During the seminar, the educational opportunities of the Virtual Academy electronic platform were explained in detail to the students. Additionally, the following topics were thoroughly discussed:

  • Definition and types of personnel corruption

  • Definition of corruption and corruption crimes

  • Participation in international anti-corruption initiatives and conventions

  • Causes of personnel corruption: economic, political, and social factors

  • Lack of transparency in management and its consequences

  • The connection between culture and corruption

  • Main forms of preventing corruption crimes.

The seminar-training was aimed at further strengthening students’ understanding of combating corruption and enhancing their practical knowledge.
