A seminar was organized at the Culture Palace of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University as part of the continuous professional development day. The event included useful scientific and practical information for educators.
At the seminar, Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Deputy Head of the Scientific-Educational-Practical Center under the Agency for Knowledge, Skills, and Assessment, Barotov Akmal Abdumajitovich, gave a lecture on the topic “Pedagogical Measurement Tools and the Conditions for Their Creation.”
The lecture covered the following topics:

Pedagogical measurement tools and their main functions: accounting, control-correction, teaching, educational, and attestation functions;

Classification of tests and the difficulty level of test tasks;

The sequence and algorithm for creating pedagogical measurement tools;

Requirements for tests and the application of Bloom’s Taxonomy in educational goals;

Possible errors in pedagogical measurement tools.
It was emphasized that a pedagogical measurement tool (test version) is a system of tasks with varying difficulty levels and specific formats, created for the systematic and valid assessment of learners’ preparedness levels.
Practical examples and recommendations were given to the seminar participants, providing important knowledge aimed at improving the quality of pedagogical activities.
