The content of Presidential Decree PF-173 on the population and agricultural census was explained.

A seminar held with the participation of Sarvarjon Ismoilov, a responsible employee of the Jizzakh Regional Statistics Department, explained “The Content and Essence of the Population and Agricultural Census in the Republic of Uzbekistan and the PF-173 Decree.”

During the seminar, participants were fully informed about the goals and importance of the Population and Agricultural Census to be conducted in 2026. Specifically, it was emphasized that, based on the PF-173 Decree, the aim is to collect comprehensive data on the demographic, socio-economic status of the population and agricultural activities.

It was also communicated that the census will be conducted in two stages – online and through door-to-door enumerators – and that the collected data is of great importance for strategic development, effectively implementing social programs, and attracting investments.

Seminar participants asked questions regarding the content and essence of the PF-173 Decree and how to conduct work with the population during the census process, to which the specialists provided detailed answers.

Concluding the seminar, the responsible employee of the Jizzakh Regional Statistics Department emphasized that the Population and Agricultural Census is important for every citizen and will be conducted in close cooperation with the public and local community activists.
