An international scientific-practical conference on the topic “Current Issues in Modern Philology” was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. This prestigious event was dedicated to the 70th anniversary of Professor Abdug‘ofur Eshonqulovich Mamatov from the JSPU Department of English Language Theory and Methodology, who has made an unparalleled contribution to the development of education for many years.
The event began with a video presentation dedicated to the life journey, scientific activity, and pedagogical legacy of Professor Abdug‘ofur Mamatov. Afterwards, the floor was given to JDPU Rector, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor Maqsudjon Yuldashev. The head of the university expressed his pleasure in seeing all the participants at the conference, read out a congratulatory message from Jizzakh Region Governor Ulug‘bek Mustafoyev, and solemnly presented commemorative gifts to the anniversary honoree on behalf of the regional administration and the university.
