A practical meeting was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University with the participation of deputy deans and tutors in order to increase digital literacy among students, ensure information security, and transform the higher education institution into a “Territory free from cybercrimes.”
During the meeting, explanations were provided on the concepts of cybersecurity and cyber hygiene, rules for safely using the internet and digital platforms, protecting personal data, not trusting suspicious links and messages, common methods of cyber fraud, and their negative consequences.

Furthermore, specific tasks were identified for tutors to conduct targeted and individual preventive work with students who are inclined toward online gambling, risky games, and trading, as well as those at high risk of falling into the traps of cyber fraudsters. The event was organized to ensure the implementation of the Joint Action Plan (Roadmap) approved by JSPU and the Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Combating Cybercrimes.
