Today, the Republican Science Olympiad in Biology kicked off at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. About 50 talented and active students – future biologists – selected from all higher educational institutions of our country are participating in it.

The Olympiad provides participants with an opportunity to demonstrate their scientific knowledge, analytical skills and creative thinking. The competitions are organized in several areas and include practical tasks along with theoretical knowledge. The Republican Science Olympiad in Biology, which is held at the university, is organized at a high level. All necessary conditions have been created for the participants, and the competitions are carried out according to a perfect plan.

The Olympiad consists of two stages: In the first stage, students are testing their theoretical knowledge. In the second stage, they will have the opportunity to demonstrate their skills through practical exercises. Separate waiting rooms have also been prepared for the parents of the participants. There, they have the opportunity to directly observe the Olympiad processes through monitors. This is an indication that the event is being held openly and transparently.

It is noteworthy that students who achieved high results in the Olympiad will be recommended for further study at the magistracy on the basis of a state grant. This will open the way for them to new scientific heights. The competitions have officially started today.
