A spiritual and educational event titled “Enlightenment Against Ignorance” was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

A spiritual-educational event was organized at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University on the topics “Enlightenment against Ignorance” and “The Priority of Human Dignity and Rights – The Foundation of Development,” with the participation of representatives from the Committee on Religious Affairs, officials from law enforcement agencies, and students.

During the event, ideological threats in the context of globalization, the negative consequences of religious extremism and terrorism, and issues of protecting youth from the influence of various alien ideas were thoroughly discussed. A social video related to the topic was shown, and explanatory work was conducted by specialists.

The speakers emphasized the importance of fostering independent thinking among young people, forming ideological immunity, and understanding the essence of the Law “On Freedom of Conscience and Religious Organizations.” They also noted the necessity of being cautious of extremist materials being disseminated on the internet.

At the conclusion of the event, relevant decisions were made regarding the fight against religious extremism and terrorism among students, and the regular organization of spiritual-educational and preventive measures.
