A meeting was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University on the topic “Strengthening the Professional Ethics of Male Pedagogues.”
The event was attended by the university leadership, legal experts, prevention inspectors, psychologists, professors and teachers, as well as officials responsible for youth affairs. Also participating in the meeting were Investigator of the Investigation Department of the Jizzakh City Internal Affairs Directorate of Jizzakh Region, Lieutenant H. Ibragimov, and Prevention Inspector of the Zargarlik MFY of the Jizzakh City Internal Affairs Directorate of Jizzakh Region, Lieutenant Sh. Me’rojov, who shared their views on the legal aspects of the issue.

During the event, the officials who spoke emphasized the need to further strengthen the legal and ethical responsibility of pedagogues and staff. Particular attention was paid to issues of professional ethics in the communication of male pedagogues with female students, the correct use of official position, and the absolute inadmissibility of situations such as harassment and inappropriate touching. The legal consequences of such actions were noted, including administrative liability and the possibility of premature termination of employment relations.

The social and psychological aspects of the issue were also thoroughly analyzed by the specialists. It was emphasized that any pressure or violence negatively affects the psychological state of female students and damages the quality of education. Therefore, ensuring a healthy spiritual environment in the educational process, strengthening public oversight, and effectively establishing complaint mechanisms were identified as important tasks.

At the conclusion of the meeting, relevant decisions were adopted regarding the strengthening of a safe and respectful educational environment at the university, enhancing the professional ethics and service discipline of pedagogues, and strictly implementing a zero-tolerance principle towards violence. It was also decided to continue regular roundtable discussions, training sessions, and spiritual-educational activities in this direction.
