The next round of continuous professional development (CPD) training sessions for faculty members was organized at JSPU.

Today, at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, within the framework of the continuous professional development days held every Saturday for professors and teachers, a seminar-training on the topic “Developing test tasks for assessing knowledge and assimilation, and analyzing results” took place.

The seminar was opened by the First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work, Farrukh Shavkatovich, who emphasized the importance of continuous professional development seminars in enhancing the potential of professors and teachers.

The seminar work was continued by the Head of the Department for Organizing the Process of Assigning Qualification Categories and Professional Certification for Pedagogical Personnel under the Ministry of Preschool and School Education, Dusnazarov Umidjon Muminjonovich, who provided practical insights into developing test tasks, setting assessment criteria, and analyzing results.

As is known, in accordance with the decision of the University Council, changes have been introduced to the forms of final control starting from the spring semester of the 2025–2026 academic year, based on the specifics of the subjects. Accordingly, the share of test tasks in final assessments will be significantly increased compared to previous semesters.

This seminar was organized precisely in connection with these changes, with the aim of preparing professors and teachers for the new assessment system, deeply studying the criteria for creating and evaluating tests, and correctly implementing them in practice.

This type of training seminar is of great importance in ensuring that professors and teachers are thoroughly prepared for the updated final control requirements in the spring semester.
