THE PROCEDURE FOR COLLECTING FEES WILL BE MAINTAINED FROM APPLICANTS WHO GRADUATED FROM EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS PREVIOUS YEARS

The procedure for collecting fees for entrance exams from applicants who graduated from educational institutions in previous years will be maintained in 2020. This was announced at a briefing on the organization of the admission process for the new academic year. It is reported that in the years before the start of the test, the fee for participation in the exams from graduates of educational institutions is 111,500 soums (half the amount of the basic calculation) “When applying to higher education institutions online, it will be possible to transfer funds through various payment systems (such as Payme, Click, Paynet). If the applicant does not have access to these payment systems, he will be issued an account and will go to the bank to make the payment. The issue of creating opportunities through any means of payment is being considered, ”said Behzod Musaev, Deputy Prime Minister for Social Development. Accoding to Majid Karimov, director of the State Testing Center, the payment deadline is July 20. “Even if the applicant submits his documents on July 1, he can still pay by July 20,” he said. For information, applicants can submit documents through the public service centers (in designated areas), the Single interactive public services portal (in all regions) and the official website of the State Testing Center (dtm.uz). It will be recalled that the Presidential Decree “On Additional Measures to Improve the System of Admission to Higher Education Institutions through Tests” provides education in the years prior to the academic year in which the tests are organized. applicants who had graduated from their institutions were charged a fee for their participation in the test. For example, applicants who graduated from a school (vocational college, academic lyceum, or higher education institution) in 2019 and earlier will have to pay in 2020.
