The “Harvest Festival” was festively organized at the Faculty of Natural Sciences under the slogan “Harvest Festival – the Pride of the Land, the Joy of the People.”
The festival was opened by the University’s First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs, F. Akchayev. In his opening remarks, he spoke about the long-standing tradition of our ancestors, especially farmers, celebrating after the harvest ripens, and the importance of this tradition in fostering a love for the land and a spirit of respect for labor.

Following this, Faculty Dean Zuhra Yakhshiyeva wished luck to the students from the Chemistry, Geography, and Biology specializations who were participating with exhibitions of fruits and melons. The exhibitions were analyzed by a jury panel, and the best displays were evaluated across various nominations.

During the festival, students performed stage acts, dances, and songs dedicated to the harvest celebration. Active participants were awarded special diplomas and commemorative gifts.

Organized with the goals of developing students’ respect for labor and love for the land, sparking interest in national traditions and cultural values, fostering teamwork, creative activity, and developing students’ leadership abilities, increasing social and cultural activity among students within the faculty, teaching students to be attentive and responsible, and revealing their creative facets, the “Harvest Festival” remains an important event that educates students in labor, stability, and loyalty to national values.
