Today, the leadership of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University held a meeting with Professor Umida Ashurova from Kinjo Gakuin University in Nagoya, Japan, who is also the Chairperson of the Nagoya-Uzbekistan Friendship Society.
During the conversation, issues of expanding mutual cooperation between the two universities and launching joint educational programs were discussed.




Professor Umida Ashurova put forward proposals for implementing a 15-week “COIL” system and opening a Japanese Language Center at JSPU. The parties discussed these initiatives in detail and agreed to establish a Japanese Language Center at the university and launch remote cooperation based on the “COIL” system starting in March 2026.


The meeting also discussed issues of cooperation in the medical field, sending teachers for internships, and jointly implementing scientific-practical projects. As the head of the friendship society, Professor Umida Ashurova expressed her readiness to provide sponsorship and organizational assistance in establishing the Japanese Language Center.



JSPU Vice-Rector F. Akchayev provided the guest with detailed information about the university’s activities, international relations, and educational programs. The Rector’s Advisor on Sustainable Development, G’. Kodirov, gratefully congratulated Professor Umida Ashurova for bringing the sincerity and friendly attitude of the Land of the Rising Sun and presented symbolic gifts on behalf of the university leadership.




At the end of the conversation, the parties agreed to hold their first joint negotiations via the ZOOM platform in the first week of December 2025.





After the meeting, the guests familiarized themselves with the “Memorial Museum for the Victims of Repression” at the university.
