The presentation event, organized in collaboration with the Jizzakh regional branch of the Writers’ Union of Uzbekistan, was opened by the first vice-rector for youth affairs, spiritual and educational affairs of the university, S. Nazarqosimov.
The speakers expressed deep thoughts on the works and creativity of Khoja Ahmad Yassavi, and touched upon the importance of his spiritual heritage. They especially spoke about the role of the work “Nasabnama” in the Uzbek people and world culture. They emphasized that even ordinary people in everyday life can learn important lessons from this work regarding knowledge and activity.
Special emphasis was also placed on the writer’s values of humanity, justice, and risk-taking. Writers, academics, and students participating in the event emphasized the importance of further studying the historical significance of this work and conveying its values to young people.
S. Nazarkasimov also emphasized in his speech that such events serve to increase respect for our national and religious values among young people. He noted that it is important to increase the spiritual literacy of young people and familiarize them with the rich cultural heritage of our people by organizing such spiritual and educational events at the university.
During the presentation event, heated discussions were held about the content of the work “Nasabnoma” and the important ideas it contains, which should serve as a model for Uzbek youth.
