In order to increase the potential of tourism in our country and to organize the visit of foreign tourists to the Jizzakh region, to increase the attractiveness of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and to promote the image of the university, the visit of scientists from a number of foreign countries was organized. Representatives of the 21-member delegation arrived at the university, including Necmettin Erbakan, Bogazichi, Ankara, Yıldırım Beyazit, Istanbul Commerce, Selçuk, Leiden, Netherlands, Exeter, Great Britain, and Ramazan Altintash, Birol Mercan, Arnold Yasin Mol, Sajjad Rizvi and Mehmet Akif Okur are research scientists.

The foreign guests were welcomed by representatives of the management led by JSPU rector Sh. Sharipov. During the official meeting, the members of the foreign delegation were informed about the style and history of the university, activities and educational opportunities created at the university. They also talked about the current cooperation relations with foreign countries, especially Turkish countries.

Also, the new building and rooms of the university’s “Memorial of Repression Victims” museum were shown in the form of slides, the museum’s information and exhibits left a great impression on foreign representatives. The University’s Steam park, laboratories and “Professor’s Park” attracted tourists. After the visit, the foreign guests were given souvenirs.
