A seminar was held within the framework of the “My Neighborhood – My Pride” project.

A seminar was held within the framework of the “My Mahalla – My Pride” project, organized in collaboration between the Jizzakh City branch of the “Nuroniy” Foundation for Supporting the Social Activity of Veterans of Uzbekistan and the “Nuroniy” Council of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The main goal of the event was to further enhance the effectiveness of the state support system for “Nuroniy” members and elderly citizens, ensure peace and tranquility in the community, and assist in educating the younger generation in the spirit of respect for the age-old traditions of our people.

The seminar was held in the meeting hall of the university’s Information Resource Center. It was attended by university veterans, honorary citizens and community activists from the mahallas of Jizzakh city, as well as students. The event was opened by the Advisor to the University Rector, G’ayrat Qodirov, who spoke about cooperation with mahallas, honoring veterans, and their importance as role models for youth.

During the seminar, pressing issues were discussed, including the development of social activities for veterans and the work carried out in cooperation with mahallas as outlined in the address of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Sh.M. Mirziyoyev; the work program and future plans of the JSPU “Nuroniy” Council for 2026; improving the healthcare system and medical-social services for veterans; cybercrime and its forms; mechanisms for implementing the “One Veteran – Responsible for Ten Youth” system at the university; and professional matters.

Presentations were heard during the event, an exchange of ideas took place, and issues of further strengthening future cooperation were discussed.
