An Anti-Corruption Seminar-Training Was Held Among Students.

On October 9, 2025, a seminar-training was held within the framework of the “Global Resource for Anti-Corruption Education and Youth Empowerment (GRACE)” program with the participation of 4th-year students of the Biology Department, External Education Division, at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The event was conducted based on methodological guidelines developed under the GRACE program and aimed to shape students’ anti-corruption mindset, fostering a deep understanding of the principles of integrity, responsibility, and justice.

During the seminar-training, participants received detailed information about the concept of corruption, its types, and issues of liability. In addition, using examples, it was explained that insufficient familiarity with internal regulations and the content of course syllabi can contribute to certain instances of academic corruption.

The event also highlighted the essence and main ideas of the President’s critical and analytical address delivered on March 5, 2025, analyzing the tasks set forth to ensure integrity and transparency within the education system.

In addition, participants discussed effective methods of explaining to students and pupils, in simple terms, such noble ideas as honesty and respect for others’ rights within the framework of the “Education” course. The seminar also provided insights into the “Regulation on the Procedure for Encouraging Persons Who Report or Otherwise Assist in Combating Corruption” (Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan).
At the conclusion of the seminar, it was emphasized that fostering civic responsibility and a culture of integrity in the fight against corruption is a personal duty of every young individual.
