A new modern academic building has been inaugurated at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

Today will be remembered as a historic and joyful day in the life of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. A grand opening ceremony was held in the Bog‘ishamol district of our city for a modern academic building with a capacity of 2,500 students.

It should be noted that a 600-bed student dormitory was recently inaugurated at this very site. Now, another important page has been added to the history of the university — a new educational complex, worth 90.5 billion soums and built with extrabudgetary funds, has been made available for students.

The ceremony was opened by Zafar Azimov, First Deputy Governor of Jizzakh Region for Finance, Economy, and Poverty Reduction. In his speech, he emphasized the importance of young people making effective use of the opportunities being created, obtaining high-quality education, and contributing worthily to the development of society.

The university’s rector, Professor Maqsudjon Yuldashev, warmly congratulated the students and said: “Each of your achievements is a victory for our university, our Motherland, and our people. We strive to create conditions that meet the demands of the time, and from you, we expect discipline, diligence, and outstanding results. May the new academic building be a blessing for all of you!”

The highlight of the ceremony was the ribbon-cutting event, in which foreign guests, esteemed teachers, and representatives of various organizations took part. Guests also had the opportunity to view the exhibitions prepared by the university’s faculties.

Students of the Faculties of Philology and History will study in the new building. The complex includes modern lecture halls, a library rich in scientific and literary works, and convenient study rooms for students’ independent research. In addition, the presence of a “Mother and Child” room provides great opportunities for students with families.

Special facilities have also been provided for students and teachers to enjoy natural infusions after classes to restore their health. Guests were particularly impressed by the modern study halls equipped with computers and the library with its rich collection of books.

The students of the Faculty of History presented artifacts discovered during their excavations in the newly established field of Archaeology. These exhibits, preserved for centuries, aroused great interest among the guests.

The Faculty of Philology presented an engaging program with the participation of its students studying English, French, Korean, Russian, and Uzbek. Guests were especially impressed when they attended English language classes, observed the students’ active participation in the learning process, and engaged in direct communication with them. Such open lessons left a strong impression on the guests by showcasing the students’ ability to express themselves freely in foreign languages.

As part of the grand ceremony, foreign specialists invited to all educational institutions of the region also met with the university students. They shared their experiences and conducted master classes in various fields for the students. This process provided young people not only with theoretical knowledge but also with the opportunity to benefit from international experience.

This newly built academic complex at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University is a true temple of knowledge for the youth and a field of modern opportunities in education for the teachers. Undoubtedly, this great transformation in the life of the university will contribute to the students’ future achievements and, through their successes, to the progress of the entire nation.
