The opening ceremony of the Volunteer Center was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The event was opened by the first vice-rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University for working with youth, S. Nazarqasimov.

– Until recently, many did not know about volunteering. Even today, it is becoming clear that there are people who think that volunteering is a profession and that it is paid for. The saddest thing is that there are many people who are looking for benefits after him, claiming to be a volunteer. So, who are volunteers? These are all kinds of people who want to do something useful for society. Volunteers can be children, students and retirees, stage stars, artists, politicians and public figures. The most active form of volunteerism is helping people in difficult life situations – disabled people, orphans, lonely elderly people. The goal of volunteers is to provide them with material and psychological support, protect their rights, and open new opportunities for socialization in society. . Currently, many charitable foundations and volunteer organizations are engaged in social volunteering. The activities of volunteers cover various directions. Environmental protection, patriotic education, assistance during emergencies and natural disasters. We have no doubt that such young volunteers gathered at the event, says S. Nazarkasimov.

Young volunteers are active in the center in their spare time. Voluntary centers provide social education, formation of citizenship and patriotism, support of work and social initiatives of professors and teachers and students, development of professional, personal and management skills of young citizens, as well as work and social skills of young people. A volunteer center will be established to form. At the end of the event, the active young people were presented with certificates of honor and souvenirs..
