Today, it is no secret that youth education has become one of the urgent issues of state policy. At the heart of all the positive changes that are being implemented in our country, one of our priority goals is to take care of the young generation who is physically healthy, mentally mature, capable of independent and creative thinking, and has high intellectual potential. In particular, important tasks on increasing the effectiveness of spiritual and educational work among young people, organizing systematic works aimed at preventing offenses and crimes, protecting against the influence of various harmful currents, educating young people in the spirit of love for the motherland and providing meaningful free time should be completed on time.
A promotion event of the project “Prevention of delinquency among young people and raising their moral potential” was held in Jizzakh region under the leadership of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan and in cooperation with the Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and the Jizzakh Regional Office of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University Sh. Sharipov opened the event. The guest of the event, the prosecutor of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Islam Marksov, expressed his opinion about the activities and actions aimed at preventing crime and delinquency among young people. After that, Otabek Musurmanov, head of the Jizzakh regional department of the Youth Affairs Agency of the Republic of Uzbekistan, presented all the information about the “Mutolaa” project with the participation of young people. During the promotional event, an open roundtable discussion on the “Mutolaa” project was held with the participation of young people. Speakers called university students to participate in this project. At the event, a video presentation of the novel “Qo’rqma” by writer Javlon Jovliyev was held. After that, creative and talented youth of the university presented a musical entertainment program to the participants of the event.
