An event was held at JDPU in celebration of International Women and Girls in Science Day.

On the occasion of February 11 – the International Day of Women and Girls in Science, a conference titled “Science and Woman: Towards a Sustainable Society” was held in the conference hall of the Information Resource Center at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

The event, organized within the framework of this date, was dedicated to highlighting the scientific potential of women, their role in building a sustainable society, and their strategic importance in the progress of science and enlightenment.

The conference was attended by university administration, professors and teachers, women scholars, field specialists, and students.

Throughout the event, opinions and feedback were shared on the responsible legacy of women scientists, the role of scientific research in societal development, and strengthening the intellectual foundation of national progress.

Speakers emphasized that the activity and achievements of women in the field of science are among the important factors of our country’s development.

On the day of the conference, the hall was filled with distinguished women scholars from Jizzakh and future scientists who have chosen the path of science. The event concluded with an awards ceremony honoring several women actively working in the field of science.
