Course Description:

The Bachelor’s program in Special Pedagogy (Surdopedagogy) is designed for students and prepares them for roles in general and specialized schools; public, multidisciplinary, specialized, and integrated preschool institutions; “Muruvvat” children’s homes; “Mehribonlik” homes; vocational guidance and diagnostic centers, healthcare ministry institutions, and state and non-state general education organizations as special pedagogues, defectologist teachers, surdopedagogue teachers, educators; surdopedagogues with Level 4 qualifications under the National Qualifications Framework (having completed secondary professional education), regulating and monitoring surdopedagogues’ activities, serving as methodologists in secondary professional education institutions, and applying methodological leadership principles in public education systems. Thorough mastery of the course, combined with knowledge of theoretical materials, equips students with practical skills during their pedagogical practice and in their professional work after graduation.
