A celebration of youth, inspiration, and creative ideas – the “Student Festival” at JSPU.

The traditional “Student Festival” at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University was held in an absolutely unique way this time, filled with creative ideas and youthful enthusiasm.

Anyone who stepped into the Palace of Culture where the event was held felt the festive mood, the joy of student life, and the stage transformed into an arena of art.

The grand opening ceremony began with a heartfelt congratulatory speech from the University Rector, Professor Maqsudjon Yuldashev. The Rector’s address further revealed the essence of the festival: “This festival is a celebration of your courage, talent, and initiative. You are the future architects, the pillars of the nation, the worthy successors of the intellectual generation. Every innovation you create today, every step you take is a great contribution to the future of our country.” These words from the university rector inspired the students and gave spiritual strength to the festival.

Stage of Talents: Winners, Activists, and Creators Recognized.

During the festival, a total of 30 athletes, creative youth, scholarship holders, and winners of international and national competitions active at the university were ceremoniously honored. Rector Maqsudjon Yuldashev announced that the book-reading contest and the university’s incentive system would continue consistently. It was emphasized that students would be motivated not only with honorary certificates but also with an additional monetary reward — equivalent to another month’s stipend. This good news greatly delighted the student youth.

International Guest Purna Kumar Shrestha: “I Am Proud to Be a Teacher”

International guest Purna Kumar Shrestha, originally from Nepal and a citizen of Great Britain, shared his impressions at the festival. He particularly acknowledged the spiritual and moral power of students: “A student is a traveler who builds their own future, dreams, and the destiny of the nation. Their aspiration, labor, and quest are the main source of true victory.”

Mentioning that he is 51 years old, Purna Kumar Shrestha said: “Despite my age, many see me as young. And I proudly say: ‘I am a teacher, that’s why I am youthful.'”

His words served as motivation for the students and infused the festival with even more spirit and energy.

The Musical Heart of the Festival – Ulug’bek Yolchiyev and the Student Youth.

The climax of the festival was the live performance by the famous singer Ulug’bek Yolchiyev. His captivating songs united the students as one body and one heart. Lively dances, youthful joy, and creative spirit made the stage even more vibrant.

The students dancing and singing wholeheartedly adorned the festival. Those who saw this exclaimed, “Now that’s dancing! That’s what dance is!” The festival truly heated up, every minute of it became memorable.

We believe that students who missed it will undoubtedly hear about this celebration and come to future events with even greater interest.

The Festival at JSPU – A Prime Example of Education Beyond Academics

Today at the university was a day when youth, creativity, solidarity, knowledge, and art were elevated even further.

Such events not only improve the quality of education but also enrich the spiritual and ethical environment, creating broad opportunities for students to showcase their talents.

Our students once again demonstrated that they are the proud and talented generation of the university, the region, and our country.
