“Green Space”: Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute will continue the noble initiative. The first seedlings were planted in the “University Park”.

Preservation of the green world and expansion of green areas has been raised to the level of state policy. Based on this policy, JSPU also conducts its environmental protection policy, and it works under the name “Green Space” in the whole of Uzbekistan.

The nationwide project “Green Space” put forward by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev allows to turn our cities and villages into green spaces and build beautiful parks. Within the framework of this project, it is planned to plant 200 million trees and shrubs per year, thereby increasing the green areas in cities from the current 8% to 30%.

It should be noted that the creators of the Green Zone are planting oak, various fruit and ornamental tree saplings in their residential areas, district and city centers, depending on the climatic conditions.

The work in this regard was also started at the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute. Early in the morning, planting of saplings was started in the “University Garden”, which is being organized in Kuyovboshi MFY, where the Institute’s Faculty of Mathematics and Informatics is located. More than 1,000 spruce saplings are being planted in the “University Garden” organized by the initiative of professors-teachers of the university.

– The larger the area of the green world in the country, the clearer our sky will be. Therefore, we have set ourselves the goal of actively participating in this auspicious project of protecting the clean environment and expanding the green world. And we call all our compatriots and students to be active in this work, let it become our sacred duty to preserve the unique nature of our heavenly country – says the rector of the institute Sh. Sharipov
