ONLINE SEMINAR WITH WEBSTER UNIVERSITY

On March 25, 2021, Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, in cooperation with Webster University, organized an online seminar for JSPI students on the topic “Advantages and difficulties of studying in local and international HEIs in Uzbekistan”. The main purpose of the seminar was to inform students about Webster University Master’s programs, advantages and difficulties of studying in local and international HEIs.

The Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute Sh.S. Sharipov opened the seminar with an introduction. In his speech, Sh.S. Sharipov talked about the international cooperation relations of the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, future cooperation plans with Webster University, the expected results of cooperation, the importance of learning foreign languages, the exchange of international experience and the wide use of foreign experiences in the educational process. After that, Webster University Rector Dr. John Greigner and Webster University Vice Chancellor Dr. Slobodan Pesic continued with farewell words. During the seminar, Webster University master’s program coordinators Rohatoy Boltayeva, Oybek Imomov, Madina Rajapova, Sevara Ahmetjanova demonstrated their presentations.

  • MA TESL – Master of Teaching English as a Second Language;
  • MA EDIN – Master’s programs in education and innovation.

At the end of the seminar, questions and answers were organized and the participants shared their opinions.
