“Today, there is a dormitory problem in almost all higher educational institutions of the republic. That’s why rents keep increasing as house prices rise. A reasonable question arises here. So, is the problem being solved? Today, Jizzakh State Pedagogical University has 9,572 full-time students (1-4 courses), of which 3,755 students have a need for accommodation, and 518 of them plan to live temporarily in the homes of relatives. As a result, 3139 people are expected to be accommodated in rented apartments, and 616 people are expected to be accommodated in student dormitories. To date, 366 students have been placed in student dormitories, 319 students have been placed in rented apartments Who is the closest student today? Obviously these are tutors. In this situation, in order to increase work efficiency, we have placed all tutors. 138 students of the 1st year were placed in student dormitories and 124 students were placed in rented apartments. Jizzakh State Pedagogical University has 2 student dormitories with a total of 616 beds. Today, they are ready to receive students. In particular, based on the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 376, a new system of placement in student residences of state HEIs has been introduced. According to it, in the 2024/2025 academic year, students of the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th year of the state higher educational institution should apply electronically through the billing.edu.uz website.
