The “Student-Run” volunteer running competition was organized in the Jizzakh industrial zone.

The competition, organized to widely involve students and young people in a healthy lifestyle and sports activities, was attended by students from 5 higher education institutions, schoolchildren, and representatives of the local community.

About 3,000 students and professors studying at higher educational institutions in the region participated in the running marathon. At the award ceremony held after the “running marathon”, the Athletics Federation, the leadership of higher educational institutions, and the deputy governor of the region spoke and expressed their sincere wishes to the marathon participants.

The winners of the competition were awarded diplomas and cash prizes by the organizers.

For information: In the “Student Run” competition, 1st-2nd-3rd places (among boys and girls) were won by students of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. Among girls, 1st-year students of the Faculty of Physical Culture Khayrullayeva Feruza Lutfulla qizi won 1st place, Khayrullayeva Feruza Lutfulla qizi won 2nd place, and Jo’rabekova Durdona Atkham qizi won 3rd place. Among boys, Aktamov Uchkun Akbar oglu won 1st place, Abdukayumov Shahobidin won 2nd place, and Hakberdiev Khusan Abdukadir oglu won 3rd place.
