Under the slogan “Healthy Person – Healthy Nation,” a football tournament has kicked off.

At Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, on the occasion of **October 1 – Teachers and Mentors Day**, a draw ceremony was held for the football tournament under the slogan “Healthy Person – Healthy Nation.”

A total of 12 teams are participating in the tournament, and they will compete in two groups. The matches will start on September 17 and continue until September 25.

The event was attended by Furqat Ahmedov, Dean of the Faculty of Physical Education and Sport, and F. Aqchayev, First Vice-Rector for Youth Affairs and Spiritual-Educational Work. During the event, they were entrusted with the responsibility of serving as the chief referees of the tournament.

 

This tournament serves to promote a healthy lifestyle among members of the university community, strengthen a friendly atmosphere, and further increase interest in sports.
