Dear and valued colleagues, dear compatriots!
First of all, I would like to sincerely congratulate all our compatriots on the 33rd anniversary of the Independence of our country on today’s happy day!
The great and glorious date in the history of new Uzbekistan – the thirty-third anniversary of the independence of our country – is being greeted with great joy by our people. In the past period, our dear Uzbekistan traveled the difficult, but at the same time, honorable path of independence. The reforms implemented at the initiative of the Honorable President Shavkat Miromonovich Mirziyoyev are creating all the conditions for the opening of our country to the whole world. The world is also turning to Uzbekistan.
This year the thirty-third-year anniversary of the Independence of our country is being celebrated based on the slogan “Bir bo‘lsak – yagona xalqmiz, birlashsak – Vatanmiz!”.
Dear ones!
It should be noted that young people, representatives of science and education start the new academic year in harmony with the Independence Day. The festive mood created by this day serves to start the educational process in a cheerful spirit. Today, in all educational institutions, sufficient conditions have been created to welcome the lovers of knowledge and to enjoy the knowledge of modern science.
At the meeting of the head of our state Shavkat Mirziyoyev with the voters of Jizzakh region in 2021, he said, “What do you think if we grant the status of “University” to the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary?” I, like the entire university community, was filled with deep excitement and pride.
Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, has undergone great changes over the past years.
In particular, in order to prepare for the new academic year 2024/2025, the university has newly created “Professors’ Garden”, the swimming pool building that has been completely overhauled, and the modern reconstruction of the Information Resource Center building. It was a gift to our students on the 33rd anniversary of our independence. In the near days, it is expected that a 2,500-bed educational building and 2 600-bed student residences will be newly constructed among our independence-era buildings. All this is just a glimpse of the conditions created for our dear teachers and students who are hungry for knowledge.
Before us are the tasks of conquering huge milestones. It is natural that various difficulties and problems arise in front of us in the implementation of such large-scale tasks. But our scientists who have experienced many trials and hardships in their history are able to overcome any difficulties. I firmly believe that.

In conclusion, I would like to emphasize that It is necessary and our main task to appreciate the life of the people of our country, today’s peaceful and free life, to live with a sense of gratitude, to show constant attention and care to young people, women, representatives of the elderly generation, and people in need of social protection.
Since our direction is the field of education, we want our children to be advanced in knowledge, to be exemplary in behavior, to become mature specialists who will contribute to the development and prosperity of New Uzbekistan. We will continue to work as a center of learning.
Once again, I sincerely congratulate you on the thirty-third anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
I pray that all our pure intentions will be fulfilled, that the Creator himself will protect our country from various calamities, that the feelings of solidarity, friendship and harmony will increase even more.
