A master class was organized on the topic “Importance and essence of language in media space”.

The workshop organized for the students of the Faculty of Russian Language and Literature was conducted by Alfred Shakirov, Candidate of Philosophy, associate professor of the National and Global Media Department of the Higher School of Journalism and Media Communications of the Kazan Federal University in the Republic of Tatarstan of the Russian Federation.

As the media space and its tools expand, they not only facilitate forms of communication, but also enable social intimacy. Therefore, it is important for every member of society to fully understand media texts, which are a valuable part of the media space that surrounds him and, in some sense, indirectly controls him through information transmission. In addition, from the point of view of linguistics, the study of media texts is important as an important source for the scientist who studies language as a sign of the social environment in order to observe its gradual development.

There were discussions about this hot topic in the master class. Students got answers to the questions they were interested in.
