The criteria for evaluating teaching staff have been announced at JSPU.

Effective criteria for evaluating the professional performance of teaching staff have been developed and announced at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. These criteria serve to comprehensively evaluate the scientific, methodological, pedagogical, and communicative potential of teachers.

To organize this process effectively, a working group consisting of 25 exemplary professors and teachers was formed. The working group’s first meeting was held today. The main criteria and practical procedures for evaluating teaching staff were explained in detail.

During the evaluation process, each teaching staff member will be assessed according to the following areas on a 100-point system:

✅ Organizational aspects and methodological organization of the lesson;
✅ Level of pedagogical skill and communicativeness;
✅ Ability to use Information and Communication Technologies (ICT);
✅ Student activity and the objectivity of their assessment;
✅ Creating an educational environment and ensuring safety;
✅ Ability to develop communication and social skills;
✅ Effectiveness and results-oriented nature of the lesson;
✅ Rational use of time.

It was emphasized at the event that this system serves to help professors and teachers work on self-improvement, introduce advanced methods, and increase the quality and effectiveness of education. This initiative is one of the important steps towards further improving the educational process at JSPU, enhancing the qualifications of teachers, and fairly evaluating their work.
