A solemn welcoming ceremony was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University for Ruslanbek Jiyanov, a first-year student of the Faculty of Physical Culture, holder of the “Pride of Uzbekistan” badge, and member of the Uzbekistan national team that qualified for the World Championship. This event was organized in connection with our student’s qualification for the World Championship.
Speaking at the ceremony, the university’s rector, Shavkat Sharipov, noted that Ruslanbek Zhiyanov’s achievement is a great source of pride not only for JSPU, but also for our country:
“The presence of students like Ruslan Zhiyanov is a great honor for our university. They are raising the flag of our country high in international arenas. We are proud of them,” the rector said in his speech.
During the ceremony, Ruslanbek Jiyanov was presented with souvenirs and sincere congratulations by the university administration and professors. Our champion student also made a speech of gratitude, expressing gratitude for the attention and care shown to him.
It is worth noting that Ruslanbek Jiyanov qualified for the World Championship as part of the Uzbekistan national team on the very day he turned 24. His achievement is the result of the attention to sports and the opportunities created at our university.
