Let us soar on our two wings — teaching and conducting research together,’ said Uzoqboy Begimqulov.

Uzoqboy Begimqulov, Head of the “Main Scientific and Methodological Center” under the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Innovation, participated in a scientific-practical seminar held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.

During the seminar, the new schemes and methodological approaches created over the last three years for the system of continuous professional development for leaders and pedagogical staff were explained step by step.

In his presentation, Uzoqboy Begimqulov provided information on forms of independent professional development in the professional activities of teachers and the analysis of participants’ knowledge acquisition indicators during professional development courses.

Furthermore, in his speech, he emphasized that today the content of education is being updated at a rapid pace and new educational directions are emerging, noting the necessity for every teacher to engage in continuous self-improvement and develop in accordance with the demands of the time.

“A teacher must engage in scientific research work along with providing quality education. These are the two wings of education,” said Uzoqboy Begimqulov. Within the framework of the event, a presentation of a new electronic platform in the field of continuous professional development was also held. This system, with its database and user-friendly interface, aroused great interest among the participants.

In the concluding remarks of the seminar, University Rector Maqsudjon Yuldashev touched upon the reforms and innovations being carried out at the educational institution and proposed the initiative to hold collaborative seminars within the framework of the “Social Activity Days” organized every Saturday.
