The first day of the visit, taking place from April 7 to April 10, started with a meeting with program coordinators and representatives of the rectorate.
It should be noted that the international organization is reviewing whether four of the university’s educational programs—undergraduate programs in Chemistry and Biology, as well as the graduate specializations in Methods of Teaching Exact and Natural Sciences (Chemistry and Biology)—meet international standards. The meeting, attended by the university leadership and guests, was held in a friendly and open manner. Initially, the university’s Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs, Furqat Jo‘raqulov, introduced the conditions created at the university, the current activities of the institution, international relations, and future plans.

The conversation, focused on issues such as further development of the university, internationalization, program profiles, and future development prospects, as well as staff cooperation and quality assurance, continued with a series of questions from Professor Tilman Achstetter of Bremen University of Applied Sciences.
-We express our sincere thanks for the wonderful presentation introducing your university,” said Professor Tilman Achstetter. “The purpose of our visit here is to support the internationalization of your university. During this process, it is natural that some questions and recommendations may arise, and we would like our conversation to proceed in an open and sincere manner. The exchange of ideas and various discussions will be very beneficial for all of us.
During the conversation, the parties discussed the efforts made to increase academic mobility at the university and the measures being taken to increase the number of individuals with academic degrees. A video reflecting university life was also presented during the meeting. It is worth noting that the group of experts will spend three days familiarizing themselves with the educational process, material and technical facilities, laboratory capabilities, and the created conditions at the university..
