Archaeologist Genito Bruno, professor of the University of Naples, Italy, visited Jizzakh State Pedagogical University on October 6. During the conversation, the Rector of the university Sh. Sharipov noted that this meeting will be the first and very important meeting for students and professors of the university, and the upcoming classes will be very interesting. Genito Bruno, who is currently conducting research on the remains of the ancient city of Sogdiana in Samarkand, and who is the head of the Uzbekistan-Italy expedition from Italy, will teach students of the Faculty of History on the basis of a contract from the current Academic year. Also, conducts archaeological researches in cooperation with professors of the university.
