Dear and esteemed sisters!

Every human being learns all the goodness and virtue in the world, the secrets and lessons of life, through the kindness and generosity of a mother, a woman. In this world, the person most deserving of the word “sacred” is also a woman. Honoring women has been elevated to the highest value in our nation and among our people. The more we respect and cherish women as the light of our lives and the flowers of our existence, the more we honor our families and our homeland.

Another reason for our boundless respect and reverence for women who have left an indelible mark in our nation’s great history with their courage, wisdom, elegance, and grace is that a woman is, above all, the devoted person who rocks every human’s cradle, instills the virtues of humanity in their heart through her pure milk, and protects them from the storms of life.

The sacred words “Woman” and “Spring” are not placed side by side without reason. We recognize the arrival of spring and its unparalleled beauty by looking at the radiant faces of our kind and graceful women.

The level of maturity of any nation is primarily determined by the scientific and cultural development of its women. It is well known to all of us that wise and educated mothers shape the great future of a nation. That is why scholars have rightly said,“A boy’s education benefits one person, whereas a girl’s education is equivalent to educating an entire society,” and “If you educate one daughter, you educate an entire family.” As our country’s leader has emphasized, “The education and higher learning of girls contribute to the progress of the entire society,” and “If we educate daughters and mothers, we educate society as a whole.”

Every parent strives to leave behind a noble legacy by providing their children with a good education and upbringing. The family is the foundation of education, and society is built upon families. Since mothers bear the primary responsibility for raising children within the family, the moral well-being of society is directly linked to the upbringing of future mothers—our daughters.
Today, nearly 20,000 students study at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University, of whom 12,138 are female students. Among them, hundreds are active community members, initiative-takers, and talented students. The university takes pride in having one Presidential scholarship recipient, nine Navoiy State Scholarship nominees, and eleven university scholarship candidates.
Our female students’ achievements in sports and the arts bring immense pride to our university. Notably, during the “Pencak Silat” World Championship held from December 16-23, 2024, our students Hilola Abduvoitova and Sarvinoz Hamidova represented Uzbekistan’s national team and achieved remarkable results. Additionally, Aziza Zokirova, Madina Normatova, and Jasmin Tohirova have excelled in several international boxing competitions. Future champions like Mashhura Soliboyeva, Muxlisa Xushvaqtova, Gulsevar G‘aniyeva, and wrestler Sevinya Isroilova make us immensely proud.
In this regard, I would also like to highlight our university’s “Ziyokor” women’s volleyball and basketball teams. Their outstanding performances in multiple tournaments, securing victories without conceding titles, deserve the highest praise.

The attitude towards women in our country has its historical roots. Our ancestors have always encouraged us to value women, to respect and honor them. Abdulla Avloni wrote: “Girls should strive for education more than anyone else, because with this knowledge they will educate the future generation.”

Dear female students, the world remains beautiful because of you. It is because of you that the deepest emotions find their way into poetry and verse. Your presence fills homes with warmth and light, and your grace spreads the fragrance of flowers throughout society. May your achievements, kindness, and noble deeds always bring you honor and recognition. Stay radiant and cherished always!

Today, 1,205 teachers and employees work at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. 552 of them are women. 338 of our women are teaching our students as mentors. We are pleased that 80 of them have achieved scientific successes, and the ranks of women scientists are expanding.

The images of 10 female scientists described in Navoi’s epic poem “Farhod and Shirin”, including Diloso, an unrivaled logician, astronomer Gulandom, philosopher Sumanboy, and Parizod, a scholar of wisdom, are also taken from real life. Their prototypes are our wise grandmothers who were contemporaries of the Prophet. At this moment, I would like to highlight a number of such wise and masterful women scientists who adorn our university today. They are your teachers, whom you know and love: Fanya Ahmedshina, Zulfiya Pardayeva, Bakhti Ochilova, Zuhra Yakhsyeva, Nodira Soatova, Guljahon Jumanzarova, and Yulduz Karimova. It is our duty and obligation to appreciate and glorify our wise and intelligent women scholars who are our contemporaries, colleagues, and mentors.

The woman who told her child that she was a poet is the first poet, the first teacher. The woman who taught her child what is good and what is bad is the first educator. As long as we have women teachers, educators, and scholars like you, the light of life will never go out.

Dear women, intelligent and intelligent girls, with a gentle heart, Uzbek lovers!

You know, the holiday is for you, you are worthy of the holiday. You are the highest reward of life. You are the ones who make men’s faces bright, their steps graceful, and their chests as high as mountains. You are holy and you will remain holy.

Happy holiday,
Sincerely, Rector of JSPU, Professor Sh.S. Sharipov
