A spiritual and educational event on the topic “Literature – Mirror of the Soul” (as part of the “Home Reading” subject) was held with the participation of teachers and 2nd-year students of the Department of English Language Theory and Practice of the Faculty of Foreign Languages.
The first of 5 important initiatives was organized to increase young people’s interest in music, painting, literature, theater, and other forms of art, and to help them develop their talents. Students performed performances of various works at the event.
The audience was delighted with skillfully performed theatrical scenes from the works of “Alice in Wonderland”, “Jane Eyre” by Charlotte Bronte, “The Snow Queen” by Hans Christian Andersen, “Hercule Poirot” by Agatha Christie, “Harry Potter” by J.K. Rowling, “David Copperfield” by Charles Dickens, and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” by Roald Dahl.
At the end of the event, students were awarded in various categories.
