International 9th Student Symposium has begun in cooperation with 15 foreign and local universities and hosted by Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The symposium, which began in Europe and was organized in various countries and cities, arrived in Jizzakh after 3 years of being hosted in Samarkand.
This year’s symposium set a record, with 350 local and international students participating. 120 of them offline, the rest online. Due to the international nature of the event, all presentations will be held in English. Representatives from several foreign countries, including Romania, Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Kazakhstan, are expected to participate in the symposium. Guests are currently being welcomed.

The international student symposium, which is being held under the slogan “We support research and creative efforts”, was opened by Sh. Sharipov, the rector of JSPU. The symposium is being led by Dr. Azamat Akbarov. At the opening ceremony, rectors of universities and education activists from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan made speeches. They wished success to the work of the International Student Symposium.
All presentations at the international symposium, which is being held with the participation of 350 local and international students, will be held in English. It is worth noting that the Student Symposium provides students with the opportunity to present their work in a professional environment equivalent to an international conference or scientific conference on a specific subject.

The opening ceremony of the symposium, which was organized to collect students’ unique ideas, learn their opinions on specific topics, create an opportunity for scientific discussions among them, develop and improve oral presentation skills, and strengthen relationships between students and professors, ended with the awarding of active participants.
The 9th International Student Symposium, hosted by Jizzakh State Pedagogical University and in collaboration with 15 foreign and local universities, will continue in the afternoon with the presentation of offline and online lectures, divided into sections.
