  • – Working as a classroom supervisor, laboratory assistant, or equivalent positions in educational institutions;
  • – Serving as a methodologist in Russian language and literature in ministries, their branch administrations, and educational institutions implementing relevant programs;
  • – Working as a junior researcher in research organizations in the field of natural sciences;
  • – Working in local self-government bodies and spirituality and enlightenment centers;
  • – Developing and implementing didactic teaching tools, vocational education pedagogy, and technology in production sectors.

Graduates of the Mother Tongue and Literature (by languages) program may continue their studies in master’s degree programs designated by the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Specialized Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan for specified durations.

Course Objectives and Tasks

Course Objective — The objective of the course is to develop methodological knowledge, skills, and competencies for teaching the Russian language in schools, lyceums, and colleges that provide education in Russian. The content of methodological education should consist of four main components: a) knowledge; b) skills and competencies; c) practical experience; d) systems of norms for attitudes toward the world and oneself.

Course Tasks — To create a broad scientific-methodological foundation to ensure students’ future activities as language teachers; to equip future language teachers with the methodological foundations for teaching the Russian language; to form an understanding of historical changes in teaching methods and approaches, the most characteristic types of professional teaching activities, and the formation of a new type of (subject-subject) relationship between teacher and student; to develop research skills in the methodology of teaching the Russian language; to foster skills in self-education through scientific-methodological literature; to prepare students for independent creative research.
