Today, the Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University received a delegation led by Indian partner Professor Dr. Anand Kumar Tripati.
The meeting began with an exchange of warm wishes and the presentation of souvenirs reflecting national traditions. It would not be an exaggeration to say that these symbolic gifts further strengthen the bonds of friendship and cooperation that have developed between the two nations over the centuries.

During the nearly two-hour-long negotiations, the main focus was placed on cooperation in the fields of medicine and education. In particular, the cooperation agreement signed between JDPU and Dr. Anand Kumar was reviewed, and discussions were held on the ongoing efforts and future plans to attract Indian international students to the university. Special attention was also given to engaging specialists to conduct classes in English for foreign students, providing them with dormitory facilities, establishing transport services, and fostering cooperation with Jawaharlal Nehru University as well as leading higher education institutions in Singapore.
The negotiations further explored opportunities to introduce joint educational programs with prestigious universities in India and Singapore. The talks also addressed issues such as developing joint curricula in the field of medicine, setting a roadmap, gradually implementing the academic programs provided by India, organizing student internships, and forming a teaching staff.

Most interestingly, the negotiations also discussed prospects for cooperation in the fields of alternative medicine and traditional healing. In this regard, areas of collaboration with the School of Biosciences (London) were identified. Dr. Sunni Ahonsi, with his insights and presentation, left a strong impression on the participants.

Additionally, the establishment of a medical institution on the university campus and the involvement of students in this process were also discussed. After the meeting, the guests visited the building planned to be transformed into a medical institution and became acquainted in detail with the practical plans.
