The seminar was opened by Shavkat Sharipov, Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. In his speech, he emphasized that the basic school should be a school where the level of knowledge of the teachers and students will be a model in the republic, and to achieve this goal, it is necessary to move forward in cooperation and solidarity. During the seminar-training, the participants were informed about the “PISA” “PIRLSS” “TIMSS” international assessment program and the talim.uz platform.

The seminar-training consisted of 5 stages. It provided information about scientific and practical conferences aimed at the development of the field of Ta’lim.uz and showed samples of the president’s speeches. Questions and answers were held based on PISA, PIRLS and TIMSS international assessment programs. A questionnaire for determining the potential of modern skilled pedagogues was received and analyzed.

The teaching methods of foreign countries, particularly the Finnish educational system, were closely introduced, and several examples were given. Information about the thematic electronic platform Talim.uz was given and methods of practical exercises were shown. We would not be wrong to say that all the participants got the necessary knowledge and skills during the seminar-training, which took place in the spirit of interesting debates and free thoughts. Also, plans for future cooperation were made during the training. There is no doubt that such actions organized in cooperation between school and university will have a positive effect.
