Graduate employment was discussed at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University.
An extended meeting dedicated to ensuring the employment of the 2025 graduates was held at Jizzakh State Pedagogical University. The meeting was attended by the university administration, faculty deans, heads of specialized departments, and responsible staff. It was chaired by Rector M. A. Yuldashev.

At the meeting, the employment status of graduates was thoroughly analyzed across each field of study. In addition, faculty and department heads presented reports on the measures being taken to ensure graduate employment, and future tasks were identified.

According to the information presented, by the end of the 2024/2025 academic year, 4,527 students at the university successfully passed the Final State Attestation and received their diplomas. Of these, 1,997 were employed in permanent jobs (through YAMMT), 124 continued their studies in master’s and other types of education, 101 were employed under the “Step into the Future” program, 146 engaged in self-employment, 1,445 are planned to be employed on the basis of tripartite agreements, and 555 are on maternity leave. These numbers show that the employment of university graduates is being ensured in various directions.

It should be noted that for 95 percent of university graduates, tripartite agreements have been signed between employers, students, and the university. For example, it was mentioned that hundreds of graduates were employed in schools in cooperation with the Jizzakh Regional Department of Public Education, while students of medical fields were directed to local hospitals and district medical associations. In addition, some graduates have started their activities in local enterprises and private educational centers. At the meeting, proposals were made to involve graduates in entrepreneurial activities, ensure their participation in startups and projects, and create new jobs in cooperation with local enterprises.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Rector M. A. Yuldashev gave specific instructions to those responsible and emphasized that providing employment for graduates is one of the university’s most urgent and priority tasks. This process has become an important step in strengthening the university’s cooperation with industry, preparing graduates for life, and ensuring their sustainable employment.
