The open conversation between the rector and the active female students was called like that. In his speech, he said that at the meeting of video selectors held on March 1 of this year under the leadership of our President, special attention was paid to the issues of supporting women and further strengthening their position in society. He emphasized that our women should respond appropriately to such attention and encouragement. “At the new stage of our country’s development, from the very beginning, special care is being taken to support women and find their place in society at the initiative of the head of our state. We all feel this from the bottom of our hearts. In the same process, a number of works are being carried out at the Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute. It should be noted that today in 4 out of 13 faculties of the Institute women are entrusted with the deanship, and women are working effectively in more than 10 departments. 505 of 1088 professors and employees are women. The number of students is 19,187, and 12,387 of them are girls. In the current academic year, 35 students who are in need of social protection, poor, bereaved, and have disabilities, who are studying under a contract, were paid contract money from the budget funds of the institute, while the region and local authorities paid contract funds to 41 female students, as well as full contract funds to 6 children of the family who were admitted to the 1st stage and entered in the Iron Book. This is also a good example of attention to our wives and daughters.”- Rector of Jizzakh State Pedagogical Institute Sh. The opinions and suggestions of female students and active women were listened during the open conversation held with the participation of the Women’s Advisory Council members of the Institute, active female students, and the “Qalb Nuri” center.
The main content of the proposals and questions by the participants was given on the topics of holding creative evenings, revealing the talents of young female students, gender equality, and preventing harassment and violence. Any state and society sees its future and development in the form of a new generation entering a big life with a world of dreams. The realization of these noble goals, of course, directly depends on family education. In this sense, as the first educators and trainers of children in the family, women having knowledge, intellectual potential, and a broad worldview are among the main criteria that ensure the future of the country. After all, it was not for nothing that wise men emphasized that it is important for a woman to be beautiful and intelligent, but she must be educated. It is true to say that the path of progress lies in enlightenment, and women’s enlightenment is the happiness and prosperity of society.
